The Staff Selection Commission conducted a competitive examination on 21.3.2010 all over India, for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) in the office of the Central Public Works Department (C.P.W.D.), MES and Department of Post, a Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial post, classified as General Central Services (Technical).2. Following are the details of 651 candidates (Civil) and 296 candidates (Electrical), who have qualified in the written part of Junior Engineers (Civil & Electrical) Examination, 2010 and are eligible for being called for Interview.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection for post codes 01 TO 09 will be through written test and interview. However, depending upon the response to the advertisement for post codes 03 and 09, the bank may waive written test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The written test for post codes 01 to 09shall contain;

The selection procedure for Post Code 10 (Management Trainee) will comprise (i) Preliminary Test (written); (ii) Main Test (written); (iii) Group discussion / Personality Test; (iv) Computer Proficiency Test and (v) Interview. The question papers for the preliminary and main examinations will be bilingual (Hindi/English), except for the Test of English and the Descriptive Paper (Main Test).

Select the language of the test by choosing either Hindi or English
Select the Discipline i.e. either mechanical or Civil etc for GET and Finance,
Human Resource Management etc for MT
Select your category i.e. whether you belong to SC or ST or OBC or UR
Select the CheckBox if you belong to PWD and mention your disability percentage
Enter your Date of birth in the specified format
Select YES if you claim age relaxation else select NO
If you belong to SC/ST/OBC category; please fill your certificate details. Candidates if domiciled in Kashmir division during the specified period must fill the details of the certificate as specified.

Write your name in Block Letters. Keep one gap between first name and middle

QUALIFICATION INFORMATION FOR GET
Fill in the name of the University, month and year of passing with aggregate percentage in desired format. For candidates with any other format; kindly calculate equivalent aggregate percentage and enter that.
MCA or MSc candidates should fill their academic details in the desired format after selecting the CheckBox.
FOR MT
Fill their academic details in the desired format of the Matrix. Once all the data has been filled and/or selected; select the Declaration Checkbox and Click on “I accept the Terms and Condition” Button upon which a Provisional Registration No will be generated. With this Number; the candidate is expected to take a printout for future reference and further login.
INSTRUCTION TO FILL STAGE TWO
With the date of birth and Provisional Registration no obtained by filling the ON-LINE Form, candidates are advised to login to perform following activities:
Select on suitable Link to Take Print Out of Application Form Select on suitable Link to Take Print out of Pay-in-Slip After taking print out of pay-in-slip; submit the necessary fee as per pay-inslip amount to any Core Branch of SBI and obtain the Journal No. Now feed the Challan Information by entering Journal No, Branch Name, Branch Code and Date of Deposit and click on Save Challan Button. After successful updation in the database; the registration number becomes permanent during the entire recruitment stage.
The Hardcopy of Form (with suitable pasting of photo as per instruction therein) along with 2 parts of Challan will have to be sent by Ordinary Post to Post Box No 12026, Cossipore Post Office; Kolkata: 700002 within stipulated due date for being made eligible for the written test

Verification of Original Documents facilitating selection process
Provisionally selected candidates are requested to appear before the undersigned. along with the following original documents for verification.
i. Documentary evidence of Educational Qualifications viz., Degree in Civil Engineering Certificate as reported in his/her application for appointment.
ii. Documentary evidence of age viz., SSC/ICSE/CBSE or Date of Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority.
iii. Caste Certificate (latest by 6 months/Permanent) issued by the Tahsildar.
iv. Certificate of Residence/ School Study Certificate (Click here to view Proforma).
v.Certificate issued by the District Medical Board in respect of Physically challenged with specific indication of the percentage of disability.
2.Further more the candidates are informed that, if the above documents found correct with reference to the details mentioned in their online application, they are required to deposit the above original documents and submit the following documents to the Department at the same time, so as to enable to issue appointment orders.
i. Employment Exchange Registration Card, if any.
ii. Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a Govt. Medical Officer of rank not lower than that of Civil Surgeon (or) District Medical Officer. (Click here to view the proforma)

Bank Of India PO Recruitment STRUCTURE OF WRITTEN TEST and INTERVIEW
The written test will consist of an Objective and descriptive test.
Written Test – Objective & Descriptive
i) Objective Tests – Medium of Examination : English OR Hindi
Note: Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective test i.e. 40% for General Category (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD) and 50% average marks in all the objective tests taken together for General Category (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD). The Bank reserves the right to vary above said cut-off. In Objective Test there will be Negative Marks for wrong answers @ 0.25 for each wrong answer.
ii) Descriptive Test – Medium of Examination : English OR Hindi

Interview Marks : Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
Selection Procedure : Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Written Tests (Objective plus Descriptive) and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. – Mere pass in the Written Tests shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview.
Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Written Test [i.e. 300 Marks (Objective Test) + 100 Marks (Descriptive Test)] and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.
Note: In case of similar marks to two or more candidates the merit order of such group of candidates will be as per their aggregate written test marks and further as per their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age)
