Selection for post codes 01 TO 09 will be through written test and interview. However, depending upon the response to the advertisement for post codes 03 and 09, the bank may waive written test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The written test for post codes 01 to 09shall contain;

The selection procedure for Post Code 10 (Management Trainee) will comprise (i) Preliminary Test (written); (ii) Main Test (written); (iii) Group discussion / Personality Test; (iv) Computer Proficiency Test and (v) Interview. The question papers for the preliminary and main examinations will be bilingual (Hindi/English), except for the Test of English and the Descriptive Paper (Main Test).

Closing Date and Time for Online Exam Application Form for November 2011 Exams are 17.30 hours (IST) of 3rd September, 2011
Step 1: Create Your Account: for every upcoming exam by clicking at the link “If you are a new user, please click here” (The users who had created login account for any previous exams will have to re-create the account) and authenticating your Student Registration Number (eg: NRO0123456) with your date of birth, your VALID email-id and mobile number. (In Case your Name is not displayed on entering the registration number and Date of Birth, you can still create the login as a PROVISIONAL CANDIDATE by providing correct particulars. You must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.)
Double check your email-id: provided by you in the above step, since the login-id and password created by you for filling up the application form would be sent to this email address and mobile only.

JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) was originally ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ at the time of its establishment in 1946. It is now a sprawling campus of 110 acres, green with mango trees in the fast developing Port city of Kakinada, East coast of peninsula India. Kakinada has a rich political literacy and cultural heritage passed on through generations This college became a constituent of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University w.e.f 02-10-1972 through an act of legislature along with other sister institutions under the control of the then Director of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, it was affiliated to Andhra University. In the year 2003 the college has become autonomous.

The College is governed by the rules and guidelines provided by the university from time to time. The Principal is the administrative and the academic Head of the College. He is assisted by the Vice-Principal and the College Academic Committee in academic matters and the Deputy Registrar and the office staff in administrative matters. The day-to-day activities of the college are carried out by budgetary allocation from the University fund.

The Government College of Technology, Coimbatore formerly known as the Arthur Hope College of Technology, was started in July 1945 in accordance with the general policy of the then Government of Madras to give high priority to technical education under the post-war reconstruction schemes in order to meet the demand for trained engineers for various industrial and development projects in the State and the rest of India. The offer of the premises including offices and portions of the workshop and Hostel of the National Electric Works free of rent for a period of three years together with a donation of Rs. 2,00,000 by the well-known industrialist and philanthropist of Coimbatore the Late G.D. Naidu, enabled the college to be started in July 1945. The College was afterwards shifted to the present permanent site of about 45 hectares on the Thadagam Road in June 1950. The College was then renamed Government College of Technology and was affiliated to the University of Madras in 1951.Though initially only Civil and Electrical Engineering branches were offered the Mechanical Engineering branch was introduced in the year 1952.

Bank Of India PO Recruitment STRUCTURE OF WRITTEN TEST and INTERVIEW

The written test will consist of an Objective and descriptive test.

Written Test – Objective & Descriptive

i) Objective Tests – Medium of Examination : English OR Hindi

Note: Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective test i.e. 40% for General Category (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD) and 50% average marks in all the objective tests taken together for General Category (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD). The Bank reserves the right to vary above said cut-off. In Objective Test there will be Negative Marks for wrong answers @ 0.25 for each wrong answer.

ii) Descriptive Test – Medium of Examination : English OR Hindi

Note : The minimum qualifying marks in the descriptive test shall be 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC / PWD candidates) and the Marks so obtained shall be added to the marks obtained in the Objective Test, for preparing merit list. The descriptive papers of only those candidates who qualify in all the objective tests and also rank sufficiently high in the merit list will be assessed.

Interview Marks : Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
Selection Procedure : Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Written Tests (Objective plus Descriptive) and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. – Mere pass in the Written Tests shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview.

Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Written Test [i.e. 300 Marks (Objective Test) + 100 Marks (Descriptive Test)] and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.

Note: In case of similar marks to two or more candidates the merit order of such group of candidates will be as per their aggregate written test marks and further as per their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age)
